Saminathan Chinnaiyan has been working as a Physiotherapist for the past 23 years. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in February 1998 at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Science in Coimbatore. He started his career in 1999 at JS Physiotherapy Clinic in Pollachi, a town in the Southern state of India, as a private
practitioner for 7 years.
In 2005 he moved to Muscat, the capital city of Sultanate of Oman, and worked as a senior physiotherapist at Atlas Star Medical Center for 4 years which is a multi-specialty medical center. Following this, he was working with Saud Bahwan Group Medical Polyclinic Since 2009, which is one of the pioneer healthcare facilities in the country rendering quality health care in a corporate setup abiding by the rules of the Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman. Saud Bahwan Group Medical Polyclinic isproviding health care for Saud Bahwan Groups of the company employees and their families which is one of the largest groups in the middle east with approximately 6000 employees. He was also conducting and demonstrating an Ergonomic outreach program to the corporate employees.
Saminathan Chinnaiyan has a sound knowledge of handling patients by using various physiotherapy techniques. He has been updating his knowledge by attending regular short courses on Manual Therapy concepts including Mulligan’s, Maitland, Cyriax, McConnell concepts, and Dry needling Techniques along with a regular Continuing Medical Education Program (CME).
